The successful reopening of Whalley Library was a great milestone in it’s history. But to assure it keeps its door open for years to come it needs continued support, ideas and participation.

“Friends Of” Library groups enable our local libraries to be relevant to its community it serves, organising things small or large, while enabling extended use of our community assets. These groups also protects the need for our local service by making the Library not just a place to read and loan books from, but a vital local hub for community activities and services.

Whalley Library welcomes it new manager Alison who wishes to invite its users to share ideas on how the Library is used and run. Also you will get the chance to meet the Friends of Whalley Library Group who are looking for more members to keep the support relevant to its community.
