RE-RELEASE A.K.A LIZZY GRANT!

The Issue

On January 4, 2010 the album known as Lana Del Ray A.K.A Lizzy Grant was released under 5 Point Records, the album got a limited release iTunes and sold as her shows, but never was shelved. the album was quickly pulled from iTunes and was swept under the rug. Below is a link to a documented version of the iTunes page of the album's iTunes release. https://web.archive.org/web/20100417122118/http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/lana-del-ray/id345693928 Sometime after that, the album somehow leaked online and the Lana Del Rey Fandom LOVED it! it is very popular in the fan community and lyrics and songs are alluded to in Del Rey's recent albums. Around 2012 Del Rey stated she was going to re-issue the album late that summer, sadly in May 2012 she announced there was nothing planned. The fandom often searches the internet to find physical copies of the album especially the fandoms favorite version of physical music, vinyl. there has been several sites offering the album, presumed to be un-official/illegitimate copies. Below is a link to one of the mentions site, after several attempts the fandom was unable to purchase the vinyl from this site. but more have been sold on other sites such as Ebay. http://www.vinyl-digital.com/Pop-Various/Lana-Del-Rey-a-k-a-Lizzy-Grant-Clear-Vinyl.html?listtype=search&searchparam=Lana%20Del%20Rey The site claims they have "managed to find a rare vinyl release of this album for you to enjoy", but that has been since debunked due to a quote by David Nichtern one of the past copyright holders working for 5 Point Records, Mr. Nichtern states in a MTV article "... never released it as a hard CD. When I read that it was shelved, that borders on libelous. It’s annoying." if the album was never even released on CD is sure wouldn't be on vinyl. My solution to the problem is to find the current copyright owner, (which as I previously stated is now Lana Del Rey) and have her fandom send her the link to the signed petition hoping to get across how badly her fans want this album to be as widely appreciated as it could be and to hold a OFFICIAL copy of the masterpiece known as Lana Del Ray A.K.A Lizzy Grant.
