Stop Metro Invading Our Lake Oswego and Oak Grove Parks and Neighborhoods

Stop Metro Invading Our Lake Oswego and Oak Grove Parks and Neighborhoods
The Issue
Metro and Clackamas County are currently conducting a study to determine the feasibility of building a costly bridge across the Willamette River from Oak Grove to Lake Oswego. The concept was originally a pedestrian/bicycle bridge which in itself would have negative impacts. However, the study is now evolving into an even more costly bridge to accommodate buses.
Bridge footings, on ramps, and transit buses would negatively impact parks and neighborhoods on both sides of the river, including Rivervilla Park, Foothills Park, and Tryon Cove Park.
Please protect our parks and neighborhoods and say no to moving forward with this project.
