The Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League wants the community’s support to meet demand of District 10's most popular playground and expand! Flag Pole Hill is Dallas’ signature all-access playground that offers a fun experience for kids of all ages and abilities to learn and play! The expansion would include embankment slides - slides built into the side of a man-made hill that create an exciting descent down while children run back up next to the slides. Additionally, in an effort to boost its accessibility, we plan to add the city’s first no-transfer wheelchair swing. This unique piece of equipment allows wheelchair dependent children to play alongside their siblings and other children!  

We all know and love Flag Pole Hill park - from birthday parties and sledding on snow days to huge community gatherings like Oktoberfest, this spot brings our community together year-round.
