URI has 15,000 students. Here's what's available for them:

--SIX weeks maximum of counseling for each student over 4-5 years;

--SEVEN limited support groups;

--ONE on-call 24hr psychologist, which URI still has not advertised;

--ZERO opportunities to provide feedback to the center.

Additionally:

--Counselors at the Center can refuse to continue offering support, such as 1-on-1 meetings, even when you know you need continued support;

--The Psychological Counseling Center, different from the Counseling Center, but offering important services to students, is not available to students without an initial $30 fee and $5 for each additional visit. Graduate counselors must either record visits or meet with students behind a one-way glass so a supervisor can attend the visit, making meetings potentially uncomfortable.
