La Salle College Preparatory: Save the Bell Schedule

La Salle College Preparatory: Save the Bell Schedule
The Issue
Don't try to fix what is not broken. If there is nothing wrong with something, all that can result from altering it is a decrease in quality; when there is nowhere higher to go, a change does nothing but doom you to fall to a lower quality. And this is the very fate that befell our bell schedule. It was subject to a change made by those in power, and in turn, they ruined the very thing they were attempting to fix. When the news of this so-called "improved" bell schedule reached the students of La Salle, it was met with cries of dissent; not one student was relieved by this decision. But this will last no longer, for we have been blessed with one saving grace: the angel of democracy. By harnessing this power, we may have hope. Hope that our bell schedule may not befall harm. Hope that more pressing matters, such as dysfunctional Wi-Fi, will be addressed. Hope that democracy will prevail. And we are exactly what makes democracy so strong: the people. If we band together, we can challenge the Goliath which is the school, and we can save our school. In an unfree world, we must become so absolutely free that our very existence is an act of rebellion. We must embrace the power of the people; we must save the bell schedule.
