Dr. Barbara Ferrer, the Los Angeles County Department of Health Supervisor, announced on May 12th a three-month extension to the COVID-19 "Stay At Home" order through the end of July.

This decision is not based on facts or science. The purpose of the initial "Stay At Home" order was to prevent the LA County health system from being overwhelmed by new cases. The recent decrease in cases has demonstrated that the county health system is well equipped to deal with new coronavirus cases.

She, along with other petty tyrants like Gov. Gavin Newsom and Mayor Eric Garcetti, are leveraging their power for political purposes. This cannot go on any longer. Dr. Ferrer is unfit to continue in her role as Department of Health Supervisor. Accordingly, she must be recalled from her position.
