The fan base for the Hyouka anime and Koten-bu series of books are generally very passionate about the series and have strong feelings towards the characters and settings. Many of the fans introduced to the anime adaptation have looked into fan-translated versions of the source material (the novels) and have enjoyed the few unadapted scenarios to a similar extent while others patiently await an anime adaptation. I and many people in the community believe that there is enough material to either adapt it into a one-cour series or a movie. Despite the time elapsed between the shows initial release and now, the fan base is still strong and growing with it's strongest desire being to watch anything new in the series. The goal of this petition is to show how much we care about Hyouka and to influence Kyoto Animation to take a second shot with the series.
