Considering the seriousness of the invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces, we, the undersigned citizens of many different countries, who recognize and value our own political diversities and beliefs, demand the following.

To the Russian government:

Withdraw your army from Ukraine immediately and stop attacks, especially on civilians.

Guarantee the existence and protection of safe humanitarian corridors for the flow of refugees and supplies.

Repeal all laws and measures that hinder freedom of expression and information.

To the authorities of our respective countries, communities, institutions and companies:

Take all possible measures to stop the war. Failure to do so implicitly authorizes any government, not just military powers, to impose arms over laws and dialogue.

Do everything in your power to guarantee the existence of humanitarian corridors and free information and expression.

Offer humanitarian aid to refugees from this and other military conflicts.

Likewise, we invite anyone, regardless of nationality, to become informed of the gravity of this moment and act accordingly.

We demand an immediate ceasefire. Governments and armies are not the only ones that can push for this to happen. It is up to all of us to uphold dialogue or there will be nothing to defend.

It is never too late.
