Since the rise of online multiplayer games including Battle Royale games like Fortnite and PUBG & COD Mobile, these game developers have neglected the African community. A large part of our community love playing Battle Royale games, especially PUBG Mobile, as it is - especially during the pandemic - one of the few ways we can spend time with our friends. Never has any game developer company provided a server for Africa until recently when PUBG Mobile launched the first ever African server. Although we have an African server today - which is not an official server where we can select the African server option; it is a server represented by the European server - we are only able to play Team Deathmatch and 2 of the 5 maps provided. To add the icing to the cake we are told to get a match, we should tap 'START' and wait 10 seconds and then cancel the matchmaking process repeatedly if we don't find a match, which could take seconds, minutes or even never if we're that 'lucky'.

As of today, Krafton (game developer) has created and 'alpha launched' the new PUBG New State which we are all ecstatic to play. Unfortunately after some research, I found out that - as always - there will not be an African server present for the African community. I created this petition to spread awareness around the world about the neglection of the African community in online game development and because I think that the African community is large enough to deserve a dedicated server. We have brilliant and talented competitive players who could win trophies in the international stage. Unfortunately we do not have the ideal ping to practice, compete in scrims or even play (for that matter) without being shot through walls, our shots not registering, and many more unpleasant disadvantages. 

All we want is a game where we have a dedicated server where we can play and have as much fun as any other players worldwide. This petition is dedicated to all my fellow African players suffering the same consequences as mentioned before. This petition could change our gaming experience, especially when we are playing PUBG New State, proved to be way better than PUBG Mobile with all its bugs and hackers.
