The problem: 

The citizens of Twin Lakes Idaho did not get sufficient time or notice of Ordinance/Resolution 2021-63/Amended Kootenai County Waterways Restricted Zone Designation/Parks & Waterways passed by the Kootenai County Commissioners. 

The wording of this document is vague and the citizens of Twin Lakes have raised concerns about the consequences of this ordinance/resolution. We believe that we need time to adequately share our concerns in a public forum before restrictions are placed on our recreation. The lakes belong to the people of Idaho and as citizens and land owners in Idaho we believe we are owed a public hearing. 

All that being said we are petitioning for the following:

• The citizens of Twin Lakes Idaho request a public hearing from the Kootenai County Commissioners. 
• It is our desire to maintain the 150 foot excessive wake zone. 
• In order to maintain the 150 foot excessive wake we would request separation from the Spokane River in regards to Resolution 2021-63/Amended Kootenai County Waterways Restricted Zone Designation/Parks & Waterways.
