The recent February 27th launch of Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires on Steam in the USA and Europe came to us without online cooperative play. Koei included this feature in all other versions (Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Xbox One), but did not include it in the PC release of the game despite no official communication in any capacity that it would not be available on this platform.

On top of this, the Steam version launched with graphical quality comparable to the Playstation 3 version of the game. Most modern computers, especially those used by those likely to purchase games like this on Steam, are capable of handling higher texture qualities more akin to the Playstation 4 version.

For a product that costs a total of $50 US/£40 in the UK on Steam, Playstation 4, and Xbox One, but only $40/£30 on Playstation 3, customers should expect to receive a product on par with the Playstation 4 and Xbox One releases of the game. Despite this, we have received a version of the game that is objectively poorer than the Playstation 3 release, as even the Playstation 3 release supports online cooperative play.

Please rectify this situation by patching the Steam version with support for online cooperative play and option for the higher texture quality to all customers who purchased the base game.
