http://webcast.knox.vic.gov.au/archive/video22-0228.php press 6.5 below.  One councillor, against 24-hrs, did not attend.  Watch Council being told that ratepayers will need to pay more to prosecute cat owners, for just a 12-hour difference for lifetime lockdown, and a Landlord Councillor instructing the Mayor to declare this ‘Irrelevant’. Then they shut-down the meeting ‘for a break’. Public question time, press 7, has more non-answers and errors of fact.
A Landlord Councillor, who began the push for lifetime lockdown, has again dominated, with much misinformation. Two years ago she was stopped by two cat-owning councillors.  In the pandemic election, she gained more Councillors willing to prevent community consultation - for personal interest.
One biodiversity Councillor, with two cats at home, is using her ‘leadership’ vote to deny Knox cats, and owners, life and health. Claiming ‘research’ without evidence, for her own opinion. Knox made the 73 written DAMP complaints ‘Confidential’.   Watch them declare their support for the RSPCA, a private organisation which killed 9,714 cats last financial year.  Most Knox Councillors state they are ‘community leaders’, yet refuse any consultation, and remain unanswerable to the community.

Please can any data analysts contact me urgently:  morgan-shae@ihug.com.au   At the moment I am concentrating on the reply to the Ombudsman, as we have not been accorded the same amount of time Council was given.  We need accuracy and impartiality.

Legally the Order, as written, makes it an offence if a cat sits in its unfenced front garden, or goes to a vet.  The Order as written contravenes the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986.  Lists of Defects: https://www.academia.edu/71778676/Knox_Council_Defects_in_24_hr_cat_curfew_report

Cat Lives Matter!
Dan Andrews gave tenants rights for cats, which two Landlord Councillors are harming.  Please contact Dan Andrews. Please ask for this law to be revoked.  Please also ask for a Royal Commission into Local Councils - not adhering to the Local Government Act 2020, preventing transparency, integrity and community consultation.
