Coach Alvaro has been the heart of the Kingsway Baseball program for over 7 years. His unwavering dedication, deep knowledge of the game, and genuine passion for mentoring student-athletes have left a lasting impact on countless young lives. Coach Alvaro’s leadership has helped shape not only strong athletes but also responsible and resilient young men.

Recently, unsubstantiated claims have been made against the Kingsway Baseball team. These allegations have led to disciplinary actions from Athletic Director June Cioffi, including the restriction of Coach Alvaro to the dugout during games. These actions were taken without clear evidence or transparent due process, unfairly targeting Coach Alvaro and disrupting the team’s focus.

The absence of Coach Alvaro’s leadership on the field has created confusion, lowered morale, and deprived players of a mentor who has always stood by them. Students, families, alumni, and community members are deeply concerned about the negative effect this situation is having on the team's performance, culture, and future.

We believe Coach Alvaro deserves our full support and a fair evaluation based on facts—not unfounded claims that aren't followed up. It is critical that Kingsway Regional High School uphold the values of fairness, transparency, and integrity. Restoring Coach Alvaro to his rightful place on the field will bring much-needed stability and allow the team to thrive once again.
