In 2004, the historical epic King Arthur was released. Based on the story of the same name, the film follows Arthur and his Knights as they face off against a Saxon warlord and his army. The biggest difference between the story of the film and other King Arthur stories is that the film has a more grounded reality rather than more mythical tropes (such as magic). While the film received mixed reviews, the film was financially successful. Several months after the film was released in theaters, the directors cut of the film was released on DVD. The cut was more smooth than the theatrical release and was well received. I believe the directors cut should be released on 4k ultra and Disney+. That way, fans can access the film more easily and new fans can have the same amount of accessibility.
