Finally, the State and Judge have agreed to an evidentiary hearing to hear the truth about how Matt Sopron was framed 21 years ago.  There now is absolutely nothing left to show Matt was involved at all in this horrible crime.  All say they lied due to the threats and shocking actions of States Attorney Scott Cassidy. We pray that the State will not cover up the prosecutorial misconduct that occurred over 20 years ago.  Kim Foxx has said she is taking a new look at wrongful conviction cases.  They have had this case since 2012.  Anita Alvarez did absolutely nothing.  Now is the time for action.  December 10th can not come soon enough for Matt and his family.
