Rename the Buffalo Bills Stadium (formerly known as New Era Field) to Bob Kalsu Memorial
The Issue
James Robert “Bob” Kalsu was an eighth round draft pick by the Buffalo Bills in 1968 during the height of the Vietnam War. During his rookie year with the Bills, he earned a starting spot on the roster and set many records. Shortly thereafter, Bob Kalsu entered into the US Army and deployed to Vietnam. On Tuesday, July 8, 1970, as he anxiously awaited news of the birth of his second child, LT. Kalsu was killed in action.
