When the former Strongman Ferdinand Marcos Sr. was ousted from the presidency in the Philippines, the succeeding Aquino government released an Executive Order #1 persecuting the entire Marcos family and their alleged cronies of Corruption and announced an un-proven amount of 5-10Billion USD stolen from the nation's coffers.  From this announcement/media release, the Guinness World of Records noted this even as "The Greatest Robbery of a Government".  The Marcoses won the case called the Trial of the Century in New York and the numerous cases filed in the Philippines were dismissed as well.  Up to this point, the record of Guinness "The Greatest Robbery of a Government" by Ferdinand Marcos Sr. is now false and of no basis.
