This petition is for families who are worried about sending their children to school during the pandemic, especially since Bell County's COVID-19 threat level is severe.  We are requesting a virtual option for students, especially those under the age of 12 who can not be vaccinated.  We are thinking of those that are immunocompromised or come from families with immunocompromised family members. 

We are requesting that the virtual option utilize teachers who will be teaching virtually only  Having teachers teach both in person and virtually was not only chaotic, but did not produce appropriate results for our children. 

Other school districts are offering virtual learning, so can KISD.  Please put the safety of our children over finances.
