We, the people of Australia, beg our Federal Government, our Prime Minister, our Family Court and our High Court, to put a hold on the passports of four, young Queensland sisters, who are desperate to avoid going back to Italy with a father who THEY describe as a physically abusive workaholic.
We ask that the Government and the Courts give these girls a chance to be heard and not have their human rights violated by being handcuffed and sedated at the airport and forced on a plane for somewhere they don’t want to go.
Let this case be examined by suitably qualified legal representatives of the Commonwealth Government.
These are four Australian children who are Australian citizens on Australian passports and we should decide who governs this country and not be bound by an interpretation of a UN convention.
As Martin Luther King, Jr. once said:
“Law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress.”
