ആയുർവേദം എന്ന ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ, ഉണരാത്ത ഒരു സമൂഹത്തെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി എടുത്തതിൽ സർക്കാരുകൾക്ക് വലിയ പങ്കുണ്ട്. ഏറ്റവും ശാസ്ത്രീയം ആണെന്നു കാലം തെളിയിച്ച ഈ ശാസ്ത്രത്തെ നയിക്കാൻ 12,000 യുവ ഡോക്ടർമാർ ഇന്ന് മുൻപിലുണ്ട്. ആയുർവേദവും അതിന്റെ ആധുനിക കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ പ്രായോഗിക വശങ്ങളും പഠിച്ച നമ്മൾ ഇന്ന് ഹതഭാഗ്യരാണ്. ലോകം മുഴുവൻ പടർന്നു പിടിച്ച ഈ മഹാവ്യാധിയെ വളരെ നന്നായി ചികിൽസിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഈ ശാസ്ത്രം ഭാരതത്തിൽ മുഴുവൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിർഭാഗ്യവശാൽ വാഗ്ഭടാചാര്യന്റെ നാടായ, ആയുർവേദത്തിന്റെ ഈറ്റില്ലമായ കേരളത്തിൽ സർക്കാരുകളുടെ നിരന്തരമായ അവഗണയിൽ ആണ്. അതിനെതിരെയാണ് ഈ ഒരു വേറിട്ട ശബ്ദം.

എൺപതുകളുടെ അവസാനം വരെ മലയാളികളുടെ ആരോഗ്യം ആയുർവേദമെന്ന ശാസ്ത്രത്തെ ചുറ്റിയാണ് സഞ്ചരിച്ചത്. അതിലുടെ ആരോഗ്യമെന്ന വരം സ്വീകരിച്ച മലയാളിക്ക് മുന്നിൽ പല മഹാവ്യാധികളും മുട്ടുമടക്കിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഇന്ന് ശുദ്ധ ആയുർവേദം വളർന്ന ഈ മണ്ണിൽ, അഷ്ടവൈദ്യ പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള ഈ നാട്ടിൽ ആയുർവേദം കടുത്ത അവഗണനയാണ് നേരിടുന്നത്. ഇതിനൊരു അന്ത്യം വേണം എന്ന് ആത്മാർത്ഥമായ ആഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ കൊറോണ എന്ന മഹാമാരിയെ പിടിച്ചു കെട്ടാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഈ ശാസ്ത്രത്തെ മുന്നോട്ടു നയിക്കാൻ ധീരതയുള്ള സർക്കാർ നിലപാടിനായി യുവ ഡോക്ടർമാർ കാത്തു നിൽക്കുകയാണ്. അതിന്റെ മുന്നോടിയായി ഈ സർക്കാരിന് മുന്നിൽ കക്ഷി രാഷ്ട്രീയഭേദം ഇല്ലാതെ ഞങ്ങൾ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുകയാണ് - "ചികിത്സയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള അവസരം". അതിനുവേണ്ടിയാണ് ഈ ഓൺലൈൻ പെറ്റീഷൻ.

Ayurveda, the ancient system of medicine emerged in the mighty country, Bharath. Since the beginning of this pandemic it must have a staunch support from the state government. ThIs traditional medical system is competent enough to treat the diseases prevalent today with its time tested principles . The Covid menace can be managed in a very good manner by Ayurveda way of approach. Evidences to support this are coming from other states where Ayurveda care is permitted for COVID-19 patients. Delhi, Haryana , Rajasthan, Mahashtra Tamilnadu and many more states have shown the efficacy of Ayurveda care in the COVID-19 management. In the past, Ayurveda has played significant role in countering the impacts of pandemics like Plague , Small pox and Spanish flu. So this ancient system must be promoted with all modern innovative supports as one of the mainstream medical for the pandemic.This ancient system is the need of the hour. An army of about 12000 young Ayurveda physicians are ready to work with their knowledge, medicines and the tested principles of their science . But unfortunately the response from the State Government is discouraging and disappointing rather. In the cradle of Sudha Ayurveda practice, it is denied to play the responsible role . So please consider this as a cry from practicing Ayurveda physicians and support the cause .
