Kempner deserves to have clean water.

 

The board has been unable to provide clean drinkable water and has made no efforts to provide drinking water to its members during the boil notice.

 

Members under the bylaws can call a special meeting of the Kempner Board.

ARTICLE VII

A special meeting of the Members or Directors may be called by the President, or demand 
by a majority of the board members or one-third (1/3) of the Members. Such Special Meetings 
shall be held upon giving notice as required by the Texas Open Meetings Act.

I propose that we collect the signatures of 1/3 of the members to have a meeting to discuss and solve this issue.

During the meeting, 

We would add a recall function for sitting board members. This allows for the board to be replaced by a simple majority of the non-profit members.

Why am I doing this? Because I live here, I need to do something to try and change the status quo.
