W/O Sanka has been transferred to Loop Street Police Station. We as the Ward 26 community feel it is of the utmost importance that W/O Sanka remains within the ward and community due to his knowledge of the area and his willingness to serve our community without fail. Crime is at an all time high and as a community it is of the highest importance to keep public servants in our area whose main priority is to serve and protect.

Good morning , community , today I've heard one of the most disheartening and most detrimental thing that has happened to our neighbourhood, and for those of you that have been involved in the safety of our neighbourhood will understand why I'm being so dramatic, W/O Sanka has been in our area and prestbury police station for almost 30 years, and today he is reporting to loop street police station for duty.

Most of us that have had any interaction with SAPS prestbury would be able to identify prestbury SAPS with W/O Sanka, they go together, because let's face it, 80% of the time not getting any joy from this station, we end up going to W/O Sanka and finding assistance, through our crime fighting stints in ward 26, I got to know sanka on a personal basis , and this was bound to happen especially for the fact that we spent so much time together, and got to chatting and again people that are involved in our safety of the community would know what I'm speaking about. W/O Sanka lives in northdale, and there are numerous, in fact I cant think of a time that he didn't, wake up from his bed and come to ward 26 at ridiculous parts of the night when needed if there was an incident, I would also like for it to be noted that W/O Sanka does not even know about this petition, but if you notice that even when W/O Sanka spoke recently in our groups (which by the way, one of the only SAPS members that bothers being in our groups), he was not the same, and yes there has been an incident ,which he was involved in a fight, after hours I believe , and I do not say that he was right in any way ! But he is human ! And the law Has to take its cause, I believe he was put on leave for a while , which is 100 percent fine, but if he was found capable to work then he must be capable to work IN WARD 26!!! I don't think that it is necessary to put him in another station and us loose an officer that knows the ins and outs of our neighbourhood for almost 30 years. As a person that is involved in the crime fighting in our ward and work closely with W/O Sanka, I want to just put you in the picture, in the last less than 12 months, in our immediate vicinity W/O Sanka had to deal with seeing, a woman get strangled by her gardener!!! Another woman that has shot herself with a hunting rifle! And a guy that had his throat slit by inhumane drug addicts, this is only in a few months! Imagine 25 years of this!

W/O Sanka needs our support but more than this ward 26 needs W/O Sanka!!!!
