As we move into the next year for many schools there will be big changes. Merging the  elementary now has Pride Academy K-12 together at Woodland. We cherish all the teachers that will be continuing on with our kiddos but we also cherish Mr Massey. He has been with these kids since starting and has created so many connections with these kids. To not only have a great security guard protecting our children it’s amazing to have one that loves his job and helping the kids progress. I personally have a son that struggles with school and large classrooms but also trusting people due to traumatic things that have happened in another school. Massey took my son under his wing and has turned around the year. Hes created such a positive, safe environment. To find someone to not only keep our kids safe but also take action to make their days better is a struggle to find in general! To find someone that is willing to also have patience with children that deal with behavioral and many other things is a challenge. Working with kids that have different struggles is not for everyone! This is a tough job that you have to love and be invested in! I truly believe we should value and keep someone that wants to remain where he shines where he wants to be! Help us advocate to keep him where he continues to shine. Our kiddos deserve amazing people like him to continue the journey with pride! Massey we appreciate you so very much! Here’s to fighting to keep you protecting and helping our children.
