We are still waiting on the council with regards to this right of way, meanwhile the priest has been leaving the place all open, something he said he would never be doing.
I think that may be because it has transpired that the car park and fence are 25ft closer to our row of houses that’s they should be. According to the land registry the boundary from the front of our houses to the chapel boundary is 50ft but upon measuring it there is only 25ft, so there’s a bit of dispute there to the ownership of the land.
It constitutes a fire hazard as previously before we had a wooden fence up with gates to our property and parked on our land in the car park, fire engines and ambulances always came in the car park and through our own gate if they needed, now they can’t get up the street or into the car park or over the unnecessary 8ft fence.
so just another bit in the saga over the chapel thinking they own everything.
