For 40 years the Richwood Flea Market has been a popular site in Kentucky. Families from around the area have flocked here to spend the day to find great deals or to set up and sell their treasures. When U-Haul bought the flea market they had made promises to many vendors that they would always have a place to sell their items. U-Haul should uphold those promises. Closing the flea market is going to hurt the community worse than it already is. Most Vendors won't be able to relocate to other flea markets. Families can't afford to drive 45 minutes to the next flea market. We need to support small businesses not put them out of business. Richwood is a part of Kentucky. Many of us have great memories of bringing our children and grand-children to spend the day and shop around. We need the flea market to stay. Especially since many people are on a tight budget.
