King’s Road now has calmer traffic flow since the implementation of the one-way trial. Just a few months ago, the streets were filled with the noise and chaos of relentless traffic, where road rage incidents were all too common. Driving through King’s Road was a nightmare, not only for drivers but also for residents, cyclists, and children merely trying to make their way to school safely. 

Since the one-way system was introduced, the quality of life has dramatically improved for everyone. The scene has shifted significantly: no more aggressive driving, no more dangerous speeding, and a substantial reduction in congestion and pollution. The community has benefitted from cleaner air and safer routes. 

Cyclists can now share the road with confidence, and parents no longer worry about their children's safety on their way to school. This new system brought about a more organized and calmer traffic flow which has enhanced the safety and comfort of our community.

However, the potential removal of this one-way system threatens to reverse all these positive changes.  We cannot return to high tension and increased pollution. 

Therefore, we urge the local authorities to recognize the substantial benefits and to maintain the current one-way system.
