Mississippi College has entered into a new “brand identity” with an updated “interlocking MC” and a cartoon eagle wearing a headdress. Students, faculty, staff and alumni have been vehemently against this rebrand and after watching the failed rollout that included social media attacks from the university to anyone who disagreed, many more stand against with this move. We are against stripping a beloved university of its signature styling and insignia and we propose this rebrand to be cancelled. We call on Mississippi College to reverse this decision and move forward with the traditional interlocking MC everyone can identify. Let us all unify under the brand insignia we all know and love to be MC. #riseupagainstthismistake
