I want to start off by saying that everyone has been both a victim of slow-walkers and a slow walker, too. So really, this is a petition to create an even agreement between when or where it is okay to block the halls and when it is necessary to keep the pace up. And this may seem like a mediocre problem, but this issue truly does impact students and staff, too. I have seen countless bickering, pushing, stepping, and budging all in the span of the 5 minute passing period. I have also seen defeated faces as students walk into a class one minute late or scrabbling students that are still 10 miles away from their class, and that does not even include the backlash students are faced with as a result. Overall this issue is starting to become extremely irritating, and if it is not settled now, future students will suffer just as much as previous students, with the slow traffic, backpacks hitting on another, and possibly an increase in tardies!
