Keeping the Police Station at Eglinton W. and Allen Expwy. (13 Division) is important to the surrounding neighbourhoods. Removing the police station is being proposed.

From Post City, Sept 2012:

"Toronto Police Service, 13 Division, located on Eglinton Avenue West near Allen Expressway, will be consulting the community this fall on its future at this location, as part of a facilities review. ...  This November, 13 Division is expected to make recommendations to the Toronto Police Service chief and deputies. From there, a report will be sent to the Toronto Police Services Board."

"A decision of the future of [another police Division in the city] will likely be made by the end of the year, Blair said. Police are giving the same consideration to 13 Division, but a final decision has not been made. Public consultations are planned."
