Keep the East Van Cross Where It Is! Stop BIAs from starting ridiculous online petitions!
The Issue
This petition is in direct response to the Hastings North Business Improvement Association’s online petition.
The HNBIA thinks it’s entitled to request that the East Van cross be re-located from its original location of 13 years in order to “drive local and national people to this pocket of East Van, exposing all this area has to offer”.
We say a big “fuck no” to this idea and request that the HNBIA kindly keep their greedy little gentrified capitalists hands to themselves!
