Keep the DC Circulator

Keep the DC Circulator
The Issue
Hello Community,
I have been talking to fellow riders of the Circulator daily, and they all have expressed their deep concern over the discontinuance of the Circulator, in response to Mayor Bowser's chop shop business plan of elimination. The Circulator is so unique; it travels and makes stops in very strategic locations that are easily accessed by tourists and residents alike. One of the most scenic routes is the Circulator that travels through Georgetown, finally arriving at our Union Station. It would take multiple transfers and metro rides to get to most of these prime locations without this gem. The thing is, our senior community especially relies on the Circulator, for that very reason. Some residents are not able to just hop on the train, nor should that be the difference in their ability to get around autonomously, or not. I am pretty sure that the Mayor has not traveled on any of the Circulator routes. As such, she has absolutely no idea of just how accommodating and useful the Circulator buses are for everyone, in our city, both tourists and residents.
I could use some help with this effort to generate the right amount of opposition to cause favorable change in support of a vital resource for our residents. If this concern resonates with you, are you willing to help me to do the footwork?
