When we moved to Alkimos, it was the charming beach huts at Alkimos Gateway that immediately resonated with us. These huts are more than just structures; they symbolize our community's vibrant spirit and the feeling of being at home. As residents of Alkimos, we've created countless memories with family and friends around these huts, enjoying the beauty and tranquility they provide.

Unfortunately, there's a plan underway to remove these beloved landmarks due to the land owner wanting them removed…, fundamentally altering the landscape of our estate and community. The beach huts are integral to the community fabric and contribute to the unique charm that makes Alkimos a coveted place to live. Losing them would mean the loss of a cherished part of our local heritage, which affects not only the people who live here but also visitors who come to experience the spirit of our community.

The decision to remove the beach huts was made without consulting the very people it impacts the most. Removing them would diminish the identity we residents have worked hard to build and cherish.
