The arts programs are extremely important in high school. Students deserve the chance to be creative and enjoy a class outside the traditional math, science, history and English. Being exposed to a new experience in high school can lead to a lifelong passion and possible career for many students, not to mention a great resume builder for college and employment applications. We must let principals know how important these programs are to us before they are gone for good.
