Keep TCC Children's Center Open

Keep TCC Children's Center Open
The Issue
Tarrant County College Children's Center, a local top on-campus
pre-school facility that also served as a training ground for highly
skilled but rare-to-find daycare teachers, is being shut down with
just 72 hours' notice. Children were abruptly removed from the
center last Friday, and this Friday marks the final day for teachers
and college student trainees.
We are deeply concerned and are seeking community support to
keep the center open. This facility has been a cornerstone of quality
care and education for our children, and its sudden closure will have
a devastating impact on families, staff, and students alike.
We encourage the community to write to the board and join us at the
TCC Board meeting this Thursday, October 17th at 6 p.m. (if you
want to, please arrive at 5:30 pm to sign up to speak) on the Trinity
Campus in downtown Fort Worth, where the community will rally to
keep the Children’s Center open. Your support can make a
difference in saving this essential resource for our children and
community.
Please stand with us in this effort to protect the future of the
Children’s Center.
