Our community parks in Stella Pointe and Bella Sera were presented to homeowners as private amenities, intended to enhance our quality of life. However, they have now been designated as public spaces, a decision made without our knowledge or consent. This change has a direct impact on our safety, parking availability, and the enjoyment of our neighborhood.

It appears this arrangement was part of a deal between the builder and the city to gain project approval—a deal that prioritized external benefits over the well-being and investment of homeowners. The result? Our safety and privacy were compromised, and our HOA fees are now being used to maintain a park that is no longer exclusively ours.

While limiting public access to the park may be difficult due to its designation under a contract approved by the city and the builder, we believe it is essential to explore alternative solutions, such as gating our community or implementing measures to protect the integrity of our neighborhood.
