A "chain" hotel is in the process of developing a 75 room hotel at 906 S. Talbot Street, across the street from schools, community pool, residential homes and entry into beautiful Saint Michaels. The back of the property borders on our prized nature trail, home to eagles, blue heron and other wildlife. 

This is a traffic nightmare in the making. Is this safe for our children who walk to school or the community pool? Do we want this monstrosity to be the first thing visitors see when entering our beautiful town? Will it be safe for our local residents to walk the trail? 

There are much better uses for this property, such as, something for local children, affordable housing for those of us who live and work here. Maybe a community garden or farmer's market. 

Please help stop the greed of the developer by signing this petition. Tell the town, the Commissioners, the Town Managers and the Planning Commission that we do not want this overdevelopment at the gateway of our beautiful town by signing this petition and sending your letters of concern.
