Squatted trucks were banned in sc and nc after a man named Cody detwiler made a video about the “worlds most squatted truck” and showed it getting shredded to pieces. Then immediately after that the NC government decided to ban the squat. Squatted trucks are not as dangerous as people perceive them to be because the road is clearly visible it just takes some getting used to. Banning squat is pointless honestly because people are gonna squat trucks regardless of what the law is so there is no point in banning it. The consequences of the squat is ridiculous, revoking a license because of a squatted truck??? So stupid. Let me ask you this… when it’s truck week in myrtle beach all the cops are out on the boulevard pulling people over for tint exhaust music and underglow when there is more dangerous things going on around myrtle like shootings and deaths and drug busts, like myrtle beach PD is quick to pull a squatted truck and harass us but not quick to show up at a site if a murder. But for real though underglow??? UNDERGLOW?!??like come on nobody is gonna think you’re impersonating a freakin cop or ambulance.
