A private company is attempting to build a solar “farm” in Rodman. To do so, they need to obtain permits from the town of Rodman. Should Rodman grant a permit, this company will set a precedent to allowing a gateway of solar farms throughout the community.

Preserve the beauty of our area and keep solar “farms” from taking over. Our area is full of lush farmland, historical sites and areas of wildlife managed by NY state.  Prevent your neighbors from selling out to solar businesses from out of the area. NY is becoming an expensive and difficult place to live. When your neighbors, farmers and friends move, will they sell to solar, too? NY will become a solar wasteland. These metal jungles belong in industrial parks, not in Rodman!
