KEEP OUR SCHOOL OPEN! 

The Jersey Shore Area school board is close to voting on the combination of Avis and Jersey Shore with closure of Salladasburg Elementary. The Salladasburg PTO and entire staff go above and beyond for our children!! 

As it seems, this will affect all of our elementary school children as all district children will go to Jersey Shore for grades K-3 and Avis 4-5 regardless of their satellite school location. This will jam up classrooms at both Avis and Jersey Shore having to have 25 kids per classroom. As parents we’ve watched the kids have to adapt to changes due to a global pandemic during their formative educational years. Now, they are faced with another major disruption in routine before they are developmentally matured for this.

Please support us with signatures showing the school board how much we care and how much of an impact this will be on our children!!
