Pi Cafe is the heart of campus. Students of various classes go there for a quick meal, coffee, or simply to see the staff that brightens their days. Wesleyan University wants to get rid of Pi Cafe, replacing the space with vending machines. While the plan is to put a new eatery in the science building that is coming in September 2026, it is not guaranteed to have coffee drinks, or our favorite employees such as Miguel, Rich and Laura. This petition is to show the university that students want Pi Cafe to stay in Exley Science Center with our beloved staff members in addition to the new eatery.
