We are the young people from the Duston Youth Group, that attend this youth group every Monday 17:00-18:30. The youth group helps us young people know how to get out of the house, exploring, expanding our ideas and talking and meeting new people. The reason we are creating this petition is because the Duston Parish Council have officially decided that they are no longer going to be paying for our youth group anymore and we need YOUR help. We have thought long and hard about what we can do to help our situation ,and we have decided we will fight until this youth group ends at the last resort and we have tried everything .This youth group is important to us because it gives us all a safe place to talk and the freedom we need to have in our society  as well as giving a lot of people the support other places just cant give like schools and all of this is free. we have built up a community that makes us feel safe where we live and teaches us new life skills and about our worlds problems so without this group we all have a lot to lose so we hope to keep this group open.
