So, ALOT has happened in the past fortnight! Channel 4 dispatches programme revealed secret talks were being held between trade officials and US pharma, where drug pricing amongst other things were discussed. Trump calling into Farage's LBC program recommending a Johnson/Farage pact. And ONS figures released last week showed A&E waiting times and delays in cancer treatment were the WORST on record.
Our NHS is already in crisis, and it could very well get a whole lot worse.
But we have an opportunity to change. Here are 3 things YOU can do today to make that change happen:
1. Leaders TV debates TONIGHT
You can ask a question to Corbyn and Johnson. Put them under pressure to commit to safe-guarding our NHS - live on national TV!!
Here's a sample question you can use:
"I am seriously worried about the threat to our NHS from privatisation and US trade deals. Will you commit to legislation to protect our NHS from Trade deals and corporate interests?"
2. Support our #VoteNHS campaign
Please if you can, donate to the crowdfunder for this grass-roots, people-powered #VoteNHS campaign. Every pledge, whether big or small will go directly towards the campaign to raise awareness of Tory cuts and privatisation, as well as the reality of US trade deals.
