Firstly I want to say a MASSIVE thank you for helping this petition reach an incredible ONE MILLION signatures! Really amazing!! It really shows just how important protecting our NHS is to people all across the country. They can't ignore us now!
With less than a week until the election we want to give it one last push to let every single politician know that empty soundbites are not enough. I have spent past few months talking to trade experts, and the consensus is without explicit legislation to protect our NHS, it will inevitably be incorporated into trade deals. That's why we are calling on all politicians to commit to the legislation. So to ramp up the pressure, we're having a protest on Monday 9th December - please come down! Hundreds of Labour Party MPs and candidates have already pledged to create legislation to protect the NHS from a trade deal if they get in, so we're starting this protest at the Conservative Party headquarters because we need them to hear our message and act.
The protest is taking place at 1.30pm at the Conservative party HQ, 4 Matthew Parker Street, London SW1H 9HQ - then march to 10 Downing Street.
