During the February 19 council meeting, it was stated by the neighbors that 12 people signed an opposition petition that are now arguing against Nashville Beach to be allowed to continue to serve the community after more than 30 years in operation. 

While this petition is not a requirement of council to proceed, this is one step to help show the city council how much Nashville Beach matters to the community, versus the 12 people in opposition.
