We are students at Pennwood Middle School, and we need your help.

Ms. Trystan Johnson is being transferred from Pennwood, placing our invaluable music program in jeopardy! 

Ms. Trystan Johnson is more than our music teacher, she’s someone we trust, look up to, and learn from every single day. She creates a space where we feel safe to be ourselves, try new things, and grow. Whether it’s leading our school musicals or encouraging us when life gets hard, she’s always there.

Ms. Johnson helps us find our voice — not just in music, but in who we are as people.

Our families see it too. They see how much we’ve grown under her care, how her classroom is a second home for so many of us. They know that teachers like her don’t come around often.

If Ms. Johnson leaves Pennwood, it won’t just hurt the music program, it will leave a hole in our school and in our hearts.
