Every day, students like myself find the motivation to attend school because of dedicated and inspiring teachers like Ms. Guillet at our local high school, LHS. She serves not just as an educator but as an outlet for her students. Many of us rely on her for guidance and support, making the thought of not having her in LHS incomprehensible. If she does not remain in our school, many students, including myself, would lose a tremendous motivation to continue our education there. Studies show that positive teacher-student relationships can greatly improve student academic engagement, motivation, and success [source: American Psychological Association]. Thus, Ms. Guillet is essential in creating a stimulating environment in LHS. We request the school management to favorably consider our petition to keep Ms. Guillet as a teacher at LHS.
