Mr. Janke is one of the best teachers we have at Smith-Cotton High School, and we’ve all been lucky to learn from him. His US Government class actually makes politics and government stuff make sense, which is not easy. He explains things in a way that’s clear and interesting, and you can tell he really cares about helping us understand how the world works.

He’s super passionate about what he teaches, and that energy makes class way more engaging. A lot of us have started caring more about voting, laws, and being involved in our communities because of him. That’s the kind of impact he’s had on his students.

Studies have shown that great teachers really do make a big difference in how well students do, and Mr. Janke is a perfect example of that. His hard work and dedication have helped so many of us succeed and actually enjoy learning about government.

That’s why we’re asking those in power to change their minds and let Mr. Janke continue to teach US Government at Smith-Cotton. We need teachers, like him, who go above and beyond to help students learn and grow.
