Maria Grey Nursery School is one of Richmond’s best-loved and well-respected pre-schools. Rated outstanding by Ofsted and situated in the heart of the Richmond community, it has been trusted by parents for over 30 years to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children.

Who we are:

We are a group of parents who have come together to advocate for our children and community's welfare through preventing the closure of Maria Grey Nursery.

Our Purpose:

To save the legacy of the charitable education that is Maria Grey, and to protect the welfare and interests of the teachers who have dedicated their lives to nurturing the young minds of our community for a brighter future.

Why should you care?:

As organisations shift back to in-person working arrangements, pre-schools are more important than ever. Maria Grey offers reliable childcare and a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop. Many of the local nurseries and pre-schools are at capacity, with waiting lists. Other local playgroups offer only short sessions of 2-3 hours.

So many children in Richmond have benefitted from attending Maria Grey and it is vital that we allow future generations to do the same.
