For the past 12 years, we've been privileged to have Lee Grabham as our postman in the Ewenny/Corntown area. Living in this village, we've come to appreciate the personal touch and exceptional service that Lee brings to his role. He knows each of us by name, understands our needs, and goes above and beyond to ensure that our postal service is not just functional, but also filled with warmth and care.

The proposed restructuring by Royal Mail, has resulted in reassigning Lee to a different area, which threatens this vital connection and service that our community relies on. Lee is more than just a postie; he is a part of our lives, delivering more than just letters and parcels – he delivers a sense of community and familiarity that is rare in today's fast-paced world.

Moreover, studies have shown that postal workers like Lee, who have established strong personal connections within small communities, contribute significantly to neighbourhood cohesion and security. The trust and rapport Lee has built with the residents of Ewenny and Corntown are invaluable assets that cannot easily be replaced.
